What does your website say about you?

I took my son to see Noel Gallagher in concert last weekend, and we got absolutely soaked!

Ahead of going to the concert, which was at Audley End House in Saffron Walden, I had a good look through their website as I'd never been to the venue before and wanted to make sure I had all the bases covered before driving the 65 miles or so to get there.

Everything I needed to know was right there - directions on how to get there, what time the car park opened, what time the gates opened, what time each band playing was due to start and finish and advice on how to get out of the car park / get public transport home at the end.

It also featured information on every single event taking place their throughout the summer.

It was of course imperative that all of the information on the site was as up to date and correct as possible - had I looked at their site but all of the information on there was still pertaining to last summer's concert schedule, it would have been far from ideal!

But this is a mistake that lots of businesses make with their websites and something that we as consumers see all the time!

Be totally honest with me here - when was the last time you did a sweep of your website to check that everything was up to date?

Opening hours. Phone numbers. Social Media links and feeds. Meet The Team. Pricing. Services. Products. Blog Content.

All elements of your website that can get outdated pretty quickly if you're not updating them regularly.

And blog content can be the biggest culprit here, as not only can these posts contain out of date / irrelevant content (I still see a 'COVID 19 Update' post on websites pretty much daily) but it doesn't look great from a brand perspective if you haven't updated your blog for three years. It's really bad for your SEO too.

So why not take ten minutes now to have a quick scan through your website and see if there's anything that needs changing?

And if you want a way of keeping your blog posts updated without having to worry about it, then we're about to launch a service that could be right up your street!

Please click here to register your interest - when we launch the service next week we'll only have a few initial slots available so make sure you're at the front of the list when we send this info out... it's first come, first served and I know this one is going to be popular.
